Cassie Tilton was born and raised in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. She and her husband, Dr. Matthew Tilton have been married for 15 years and have three children, Noah,11, Zachary, 9, and Adalyn, 7.

 

She attended College of the Ozarks, North Arkansas College, Arkansas Tech University, and University of Central Missouri.

 

“You are never too old to learn. There is always something to learn,” she says is one of the most valuable lessons she learned while attending college.

“My daughter’s diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes has given me a passion for diabetes - not only the patients, but also their families/caregivers, and those that research and fight for a cure every day,” she said.  

She says the secret to living a joyful and fulfilling life lies in her faith and family.

 

“I believe that finding happiness in the small everyday things is my key to lasting joy…and separate blankets.
